This subject is mandatory in the UK but often not in other countries. It covers product design, graphic design, textiles, food, electronics and the awkwardly named 'resistant materials' (woodwork, metalwork and plastics).
- danielbeylerian - HS Teacher passionate about engaging learners/inspiring teachers with Video Calling, Virtual Worlds, Mobile Learning, Educational Gaming, Social Media & Smiles.
- Christian Long (@christianlong or @beplayful) --> US-based. Design Teacher (with a heavy focus on "design thinking" --> as in the methodologies of IDEO, Stanford University's d.school/K12-Lab, etc). Also, founder of Be Playful | Design + Studio, a collaborative design studio that focuses on changing the way we learn with an eye on the future --> working w/ school architects/planners/designers, emerging tech companies/leaders, teachers + admins, etc. Before going 'full in' into this realm, I was a HS school teacher/coach for years.
- blatchleytech - MS technology and journalism teacher in AK. Would love to collaborate on design, video, podcasting, or social media projects.
- Will Nolan (Twitter @willnolannet )Teacher of Design and Communication Graphics, Materials Technology wood, Technology, Technical Drawing in Ireland. Masters in Educational Technologies focused on teacher collaboration. If you wish to collaborate with me contact me.
- Philip Watson ( @cheersphilip ) Teacher of Design & Technology - resistant materials, product design, graphics and others. Also registered Health & Safety consultant (not as boring as it sounds - its training teachers to use circular saws etc). Working in Norfolk, UK, but travelling to London regularly. WOULD LIKE TO SEE MORE D&T TEACHERS USING TWITTER!! If you know any, hook them up! It's getting embarrassing teaching a 'technology' subject, where the teachers are still crying about the end of the industrial revolution :D
- Lynn B. - (@jlypio35) Program Coordinator for Community Arts Partnerships at the College for Creative Studies in Detroit, MI which provides free art and design classes to over 4,000 Detroit youth each year.
- Jack Smith - Digital editing of images, specialising in canvas prints
- mtredenick - Graphic Design (Photoshop) teacher for grades 9-12
- Kim DeCarli (kdecarli)-MS Technology Teacher grades 6-8. Courses based on the ISTE standards.

Students can design their posters for science fair projects with http://www.iclicknprint.com application. It is really useful both for students and teachers.
